My Real Estate Credentials
In 1997 I became a licensed, full-time sales associate with Eastman Lake Realty, before it became Coldwell-Banker Redpath. I am a member in good standing of the following organizations:
- National Association of Realtors
- New Hampshire Association or Realtors
- New Hampshire/Vermont Multiple Listing Service
Why Did We Move to Eastman…?
I can think of several reasons. Three stand out:
- “Live free or die”. During the years we had vacationed here, we came to view New Hampshire as a people- and family-friendly state in the most fundamental sense. Here is a state, for example, that still practices limited government! After the congested, free-spending states we had lived in, New Hampshire’s sense of economy and self-restraint seemed very appealing. (And, mommy, don’t forget to tell them how many families here have pets who like to live free, too…!)
- A clean environment. After a lifetime of trash-strewn highways, polluted waterways and air “you can see”, the beauty and cleanliness of New Hampshire’s mountains, lakes and streams were irresistible.
- A sense of community. On more than one occasion my husband and I have remarked to each other: What wonderful friends we’ve made since moving here! Perhaps it’s because–in this rural community–people seem to place more value on each other than in urban settings.
